CROATIAN NURSES SOCIETY OF ANESTHESIA, REANIMATION, INTENSIVE CARE AND TRANSFUSION

Croatian Nurses Society of Anesthesia, Reanimation, Intensive Care and Transfusion (CNSARICT) was established on May 20, 2005 with the aim of organizing continuing professional development for nurses providing health care in anesthesia, resuscitation, intensive care and transfusion.

Society activities include organizing and conducting professional development courses approved by the Croatian Nursing Council, proposing a scope of work in the fields of anesthesia, resuscitation, intensive care and transfusion, joining international associations, cooperation with related nursing associations and other health professionals in Croatia and beyond, organizing and conducting activities necessary for the Society objectives implementation.

In order to achieve these goals, the Committees for Intensive Care, Anesthesia, Pediatric and Neonatal Intensive Care, Emergency Hospital Admissions, Transfusion, Pain Management, Palliative Care and Hyperbaric Medicine were established.

CNSARICT also pursues its interests internationally through membership in international associations. Society is a member of the European Federation of Critical Care Nursing associations (EfCCNa), International Federation of Nurse Anesthetists (IFNA) and the World Federation of Critical Care Nurses (WFCCN).
